Your files
From your file to a file that fits.
- Choose your HEIC or HEIF photos.
- Set the quality, and add a size limit if you need one.
- Download your JPGs individually or together in a ZIP.
JPG works in most upload forms and photo apps. The conversion removes source metadata, including GPS and date taken. Keep your originals if that information matters.
HEIC is decoded to a standard 8-bit image. HDR gain maps, depth data, and wide-color profiles are not preserved. For a file with several images, only the primary still image is exported.
A few useful answers
Will the quality change?
JPG uses lossy compression. A quality of 90 is a useful starting point; the best choice depends on your photo. Converting does not restore detail already lost.
Can I convert HEIF files too?
Yes, supported HEIC and HEIF still photos use the same decoder. Some unusual codecs, HDR features, or multi-image files may not be supported.
Are my pictures uploaded?
No. Image processing and ZIP creation happen in your browser. No image upload is needed.
What are the file limits?
Up to 20 files, 25MB each, 100MB combined, and 24 megapixels per image. Some devices may need smaller batches. If a photo is too large, export a smaller copy first.
