Your files
From your file to a file that fits.
- Select supported HEIC or HEIF photos.
- Keep Under 5MB selected and choose any dimension limits required by your destination.
- Inspect the measured size and dimensions, then download.
A 5MB allowance gives the encoder more room than 1MB or 2MB, but is still a ceiling, not a requested file size. An already-small result is not enlarged to fill the budget.
HEIC is decoded to a standard 8-bit image. HDR gain maps, depth data, and wide-color profiles are not preserved. For a file with several images, only the primary still image is exported.
A few useful answers
Why choose a 5MB limit?
Use it when your upload form accepts JPGs under 5MB. A larger allowance can avoid unnecessary quality reduction compared with a tighter cap.
Will every photo keep its dimensions?
Not necessarily. Your dimension settings apply first, and very detailed photos may still need resizing to meet the cap. Final dimensions are shown.
Can a batch ZIP exceed 5MB?
Yes. The cap applies separately to each converted photo. The combined ZIP can exceed 5MB.
What are the file limits?
Up to 20 files, 25MB each, 100MB combined, and 24 megapixels per image. Some devices may need smaller batches. If a photo is too large, export a smaller copy first.
