Using the tools

PicPropper offers browser-based image conversion, resizing, compression, and metadata removal. Use the tools only for files you are entitled to process and for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, exploit it, or interfere with other users.

Your files and rights

You retain your rights in the images you process. You do not grant us ownership of them. The converter works locally and does not require uploading your files to us. Keep originals and check downloaded results before relying on them.

Output limitations

Conversion can change color, quality, dimensions, and metadata. This release does not preserve HDR gain maps, depth data, wide-color profiles, or every frame in a multi-image file. File-size and format requirements vary by destination; a converted image is not guaranteed to be accepted by another service. Metadata removal does not erase visible identifying details.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every file or device. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided without warranties, and the operator is not responsible for losses arising from use or inability to use the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party software

Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. See our software notices and source materials. These terms do not limit rights granted by those licenses, including applicable rights to modify or replace licensed components.
