Your files
From your file to a file that fits.
- Choose your HEIC or HEIF photos.
- Keep the 2MB limit or choose another target.
- Convert and check the final size and dimensions before downloading.
To meet the cap, we lower JPG quality and, if necessary, reduce dimensions. The result card shows the final width and height. Other sites can still have additional upload requirements.
HEIC is decoded to a standard 8-bit image. HDR gain maps, depth data, and wide-color profiles are not preserved. For a file with several images, only the primary still image is exported.
A few useful answers
Does 2MB mean 2,000,000 bytes?
Here it does. We target fewer than 2,000,000 bytes, which also fits a binary 2MiB limit. Rounded size labels are secondary to the actual byte check.
Will my photo be resized?
Only if your width/height settings require it or quality adjustments cannot reach the file cap. The output dimensions are always shown.
What about 1MB or 5MB?
Use the maximum file size setting. These presets use the same measured compression process.
What are the file limits?
Up to 20 files, 25MB each, 100MB combined, and 24 megapixels per image. Some devices may need smaller batches. If a photo is too large, export a smaller copy first.
