A few useful answers
Is 500KB the same as half a megabyte?
Here KB uses 1,000 bytes, so the cap is 500,000 bytes. Successful output stays strictly below that value, rather than relying on a rounded size label.
Can I keep more detail than with 100KB?
A larger budget can retain more detail or larger dimensions, depending on the image. Choose the largest cap your destination permits and inspect the result.
Does a batch ZIP also stay below 500KB?
No. The limit applies separately to each converted image. A ZIP containing several results can exceed it.
Can I choose another format?
Yes. WebP supports a measured cap and transparency when your destination accepts it. Choosing PNG disables the file-size cap.
What are the file limits?
Up to 20 files, 25MB each, 100MB combined, and 24 megapixels per image. Some devices may need smaller batches. If a photo is too large, export a smaller copy first.
