100KB is a small budget for a detailed photo. Reaching it may noticeably reduce quality and dimensions. The cap applies to each image, not the combined ZIP, and does not guarantee compliance with other upload requirements.
A few useful answers
Will the file be exactly 100KB?
No. This is a maximum, not a padding target. A successful file is strictly below 100,000 bytes; an already-smaller result is not enlarged.
Can I compress a JPG to 100KB here?
Yes. JPG and JPEG inputs use the same measured process as the other supported formats. You do not need a separate JPG-only tool.
What happens if the cap cannot be reached?
The tool reports an error rather than offering an oversized result as successful. Consider smaller dimensions or a larger limit if your destination allows it.
Will a transparent image stay transparent?
The default JPG output uses a white background. Select WebP to preserve transparency with a byte cap, if your destination accepts WebP. PNG output disables the cap.
What are the file limits?
Up to 20 files, 25MB each, 100MB combined, and 24 megapixels per image. Some devices may need smaller batches. If a photo is too large, export a smaller copy first.
